The mentorship program offered by Helen is for dedicated students whom are not able to take weekly classes at Helen’s studio. The program is limited to a select number of students, whom will receive guidance on their work and career direction through email, skype and phone calls.

1-2 works of art will be reviewed during each session, and may include preliminary planning, work in progress, and/or completed work of art. Students may also be given assignments to further develop areas that they are currently having difficulty with. If homework assignments are suggested the previous session, this homework will also be reviewed.

The frequency of these sessions is determined by the students, but will not take place more than once a week. The suggested frequency for sessions is once a week or once every two weeks. This frequency may vary, depending on the student’s schedule.

At the beginning of the mentorship and after every six sessions, students will have a 45 to 60 minute private consultation. These consultations may be through skype, email, phone, or in person at Helen’s studio in Vicksburg, Michigan.
